چکیده

Background. For radar systems, the beam pattern of a uniform linear array (ULA) is synthesized to ensure signal selectivity by direction. A specific ULA sidelobe cancelled rescaling weights. In particular, this done increasing number sensors and shortening scanning step. However, noticeable limitation loss transmitted power. Therefore, problem optimally balance versus effective cancellation.
Objective. order multiple direction interference suppression, goal find an optimal for synthesis. The criterion determine such minimum these at which mainlobes towards useful directions are evened as much possible.
Methods. To achieve said goal, cancellation simulated. simulation configured carried out using MATLAB® R2020b Phased Array System ToolboxTM functions based on algorithm Results. By sensors, lobes not only thinned but also change in their sidelobes become relatively stronger. limited three influencing factors: thinned-array curse power loss, aperture size, intensification.
Conclusions. An synthesis can be found when step equal least distance between adjacent directions. At start, set If enough, corrected.

The Steered Auxiliary Beam Canceller for Interference Cancellation in a Phased Array

A common problem encountered in phased array signal processing is how to remove sources of interference from a desired signal. Two existing methods to accomplish this are the Linearly Constrained Minimum Variance (LCMV) beamformer and the Side-Lobe Canceller (SLC). LCMV provides better performance than SLC, but comes with much higher computational costs. The Steered Auxiliary Beam Canceller (SA...

The Generalized Sidelobe Canceller Based on Quaternion Widely Linear Processing

We investigate the problem of quaternion beamforming based on widely linear processing. First, a quaternion model of linear symmetric array with two-component electromagnetic (EM) vector sensors is presented. Based on array's quaternion model, we propose the general expression of a quaternion semiwidely linear (QSWL) beamformer. Unlike the complex widely linear beamformer, the QSWL beamformer i...

Improved Look-direction Interference Suppression in NLMS Generalized Sidelobe Canceler using Dynamic Weight Behavior

In an adaptive generalized sidelobe canceler interference signals are canceled when the reference inputs, or auxiliary beams, contain information about those interference signals while not containing information about the mainlobe signal of interest. Assuming a wide sense stationary scenario, the behavior and performance of this adaptive system approach the behavior and performance of the corre...

Modulated Lapped Transform Generalized Sidelobe Canceller

Continuing improvements in analog and digital technology has made elemental digital beamforming (DBF) for sensor arrays a reality. Weak signal reception enhancement can be achieved through the adaptive suppression of potentially time-varying interference in operational environments. Utilizing all the degrees of freedom (DoF's) of an adaptive elemental DBF array with a large number of elements i...

A novel wavelet-based generalized sidelobe canceller

This paper presents a novel narrowband adaptive beamformer with the generalized sidelobe canceller (GSC) as the underlying structure. The new beamformer employs the regular M -band wavelet lters in the design of the blocking matrix of the GSC, which, as justi ed analytically, can indeed block the desired signals as required, provided the wavelet lters have su ciently high regularity. Additional...
